4. Snack is Back!! As you've probably noticed on Twitter ~The HPAS snack program has started...
The HPAS snack program a project of the parent council. Volunteer parents deliver a healthy fruit or vegetable snack to the classrooms every Wednesday afternoon for the students.
The purpose of the snack program is to promote the enjoyment of healthy food together and to engage the students in conversation about healthy food.
We will often make short videos to share in the classroom about that week's snack and where it comes from or why it is good for you. Those videos are available on our Council YouTube page. (Yes we have a YouTube Page)::
Explore and have fun looking through all the amazing videos from last year - and stay tuned for more/new one's!
We are always looking for more help in preparing or serving the snack (usually on Wednesday), so if you would like to get involved, please contact Janice or Tanya. ( firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com) Also, if you have any questions or concerns about the program, please be in touch with Tanya.
We would love to hear from you!

1. THANK YOU!!! A special note from Kelly Fricker
My IndieGoGo Campaign and the book launch earlier this month went so well, that I sold out of my first round of books!
If you'd still like to get a copy, a second round of printing is on it's way - you can pre-order online at www.kellysedubooks.com. *Skip the shipping fee and pick-up from school!
I also started an Instagram Account @KellysEduBooks so please follow and feel free to share your pics of "When I Read ..." with you and your little ones
Students are stopping me in the halls or on the playground to tell me that they've read it and liked it, families are finding me after school to share with me their favourite pages and parents are telling me that their child is reading it aloud to them as a bedtime story ... words can't describe how happy this makes me! I'm so glad that I've been able to share my love of reading with this amazing community.
I truly appreciate all your support, thank you.
Have a great week!
p.s. - If you have graduated/left the school and would like to be removed please email me here
